How did JDP Engineering get started?:
Originally it started with me and 2 of my best friends from high school, back in 2003. All 3 of us were car enthusiasts and loved modding our cars. One of my friends owned a 93 Integra at the time, and he had this idea of a carbon fiber lip we wished a company would make. This is what sparked our interest to start designing and manufacturing parts we would want on our cars. Our first carbon product turned out to be a hit, and the company grew from there.

What about the name how was that decided upon? J.D.P is the initials from each of our first names. John, Dan, and Pravin.

What type of services do you offer?:Retailing and distributing carbon fiber aftermarket products….primarily carbon fiber lips. Are continuously attending events, speaking and listening our customers to come up with new products.

Are you strictly an import shop?: At this point, yes…pretty much all imports
What are some of the current projects you are working on?: stuff I’m working now are a line of products for the Evo X.next in line for the DA are carbon fiber window visors, and possibly the OEM optional lip for the 90/91 DA.

Anything else we should know about JDP?: we pride ourselves on customer service…we make sure all of our customers are taken care of if there’s a problem. Our company relies heavily on referrals. All of our products are made in the US as well.
