How did you get involved with the car scene: No one in my family does it except my Uncle Danny. It was a passion I had always had that I decided to follow. I thought my parents were going to kill me when I dropped out of Pre-med to major in autobody and mechanics though. They’re supportive now though.

What’s the story behind this build: I did all of the work myself, with the exception of the powdercoating, tint and embroidery/upholstery. I have a degree in autobody/mechanics from New England Tech (a college here in RI). The paint job was my final project in Sept. 2006. It took seven weeks start to finish. I always wanted a car that was my own, and well, this was the best way to do it, design and execute it by yourself.
It’s modeled after a 1970 AAR ‘Cuda, from the paint scheme to the powdercoating on the motor. I’m planning on putting the Stage 3 big wheel turbo that’s sitting next to me on by the end of the month, along with all the fuel mods necessary to do it. The car is a daily driver also with over 100k on the clock.
It’s a pretty balanced mixture of show and go without being too extreme in either area. Its definitely one of the most unique SRTs you have ever seen. I have plenty more to install and ALOT more plans for the car. No project is ever truly finished.

How much power is it putting down: Currently 300fwhp and 350fwtq, I’ll be near 500 front wheel with the new turbo though. That’s at 21psi holding 17 to redline.

1/4 trap: Haven’t run it as its more of a show car, but with a good 60 foot time it would be in the 12s easy

Future Plans: To put all of the stuff that’s sitting next to me on, the Stage 3 turbo, complete fuel setup, new underbodies, Cry02 kit, exhaust work. After that external gated manifold, portwork on the head and a full motor build. For looks all I want to add right now is the Carbon By design fiberglass lip and finish up my interior and trunk work. But that’s all I can think of for now, I’m sure there will be more.

Popcorn or chips: Neither, I have Celiac. Although they do make gluten free rice chips that aren’t bad ha ha!

Shout outs or Thanks: I’d like to thank all of my closest friends, they know who they are. And all those who had a hand in helping me make the car what it is today. Jeff from JRA Powdercoating and Collision center and all of his staff, Sunset Tint Company, Unique Embroidery, Charles St. Auto and Boat Top and New England Tech. And most importantly my parents, for standing by me and supporting me, and mom for holding the umbrella while I work on the car in the rain.
