All Jacked Up F150
We are always pulling out little twists over here at Tuner Maneuver Magazine and Greg’s F150 is one of them. This truck is not only packing a nice lift and tires, it has has the power of a supercharger to back it up. Here is our exclusive interview with greg.

Occupation: Mechanical Engineer
Hobbies: Cars, Trucks, Going Fast, Gaming
When and how did you get into cars: I have been into cars since I was 15. I built my first truck and have been putting way more money than I should into cars. Cars have always amazed me at tha mount of power they can make with little modifications.
Influences: No real influences, I sort of follow my own trail. I do a lot of reading on the different forums that apply to the vehicle I have at any given time. I do what I find interesting and always try to put my touch on things.
Previous vehicles owned: 1985 Ford Mustang GT HO Convertible, 1998 Ford Taurus SHO, 2001 Ford Mustang GT with a Kenne Bell Supercharger, 2003 Cobra Mustang ported and sprayed, 2006 Yamaha R6S.
Why did you buy this vehicle: I bought it for a practical daily driver. Though it is still my daily driver, it is not so practical anymore. I have done some things to keep it as practical as I can like adding leather seats for when my baby comes (due January 15), putting a camper shell on back for traveling with my dogs, and keeping the stock gearing for highway travel.
What made you start modifying your vehicle: I began modifying it the day I brought it home. I bought the vehicle new in July 2007, the 1st mod was an exhaust and leveling kit. After many iterations of exhaust to find the right now and many other mods, I now have the truck I love. I still want to do a couple more things like long tube headers, e-fans, and possibly some gearing down the road as I pick up another daily driver.
Purpose/goal of build: No real goal, which can be very dangerous. Just wanted something different and fun to drive. Whooping up on the occasional Mustang is plus.
What problems (if any) did you encounter: Getting the power sliding rear window to fit in a regular cab in which it was not designed for.
How did you solve those problems: A little finesse, muscle and a little “clearancing” with a hammer and all is good.
What were the stages in which the car was built: Everything was in stages. It cost a lot of money, more than I like to think about all at once.
Cost to build: $38,000 including purchase of truck
Estimated value: $26,000?
Trophies/honors/awards: never shown
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of building a similar vehicle: Have a goal in mind and stick to it. It becomes a very slippery slope when building any ride if you don’t have a point to stop.
What are the most unique features about your vehicle:
I find a lot of supercharged truck and a lot of lifted truck, but normally you won’t find them combined. It is a great all around vehicle with ability to go across country (and has) and take it off road.
What did you learn from building the vehicle: The same lesson I learn with every build, you mess with them long enough they don’t have the nice factory ride anymore.
Future of vehicle: Long tube headers, e-fans, and once I get another vehicle, gears, larger tires and maybe a built drive line if I decide to keep it. (Which is rare, this vehicle is the longest I have owned at a little over 2 years).
Any future project(s): Performance SUV is next on the list
